More and more restaurants are relying on security companies to help check IDs and implement B.C.’s vaccine requirements for patrons of sit-down restaurants and pubs, which went into effect on Sept. 13.
"We have told Alberta that if there are things we can do to support them, we will. And if we can take patients on in the future, we will," said B.C. Health Minister Adrian Dix.
The lawsuit states that the money and ring are "proceeds and instruments of unlawful activity," and that if they were returned to the defendants, they would likely be used for unlawful activity.
