People who’ve been living at an encampment in downtown Vancouver say they’re overwhelmed by a judge’s decision Thursday allowing them to stay in the park after spending months with eviction pressure hanging over their heads.
On Monday evening, the Vancouver School Board voted seven-to-two to begin the school closure process for Queen Elizabeth Annex. It’s the fourth time since 2008 the small elementary school has been put forward for closure.
