The City of Thunder Bay is increasing its rate of testing wastewater for COVID-19 as cases climb in the community in northwestern Ontario.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit on Monday announced an outbreak at the Thunder Bay Correctional Centre, involving the male side of the facility with three confirmed cases. It's the second outbreak in a Thunder Bay correctional facility in the last two weeks.
Impaired driving remains a major problem in Thunder Bay, with 13 people charged during Festive RIDE checks, police said.
