School boards in Windsor-Essex are preparing for the rollout of COVID-19 testing in schools.
A total of 61 students from three cohorts from W.J. Langlois Catholic Elementary School have been dismissed by the local health unit after receiving notification of three confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to a Saturday news release.
The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) reported 30 new COVID-19 cases and no additional deaths on Sunday.
Windsor resident Nancy McDonald says accessing the COVID-19 vaccine has already come with a few barriers, including figuring out the online registration and planning transportation to the site.
