People living in long-term care homes in Waterloo region are now receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. The region’s mobile vaccination clinic made one of its first stops Tuesday at the Golden Years Nursing Home in Cambridge.
There were 62 fewer active COVID-19 cases in Waterloo region on Sunday, bringing the current total down to 959. At the same time, there were 95 new COVID-19 cases reported.
Public school enrolment has declined during the current school year, with about 500 fewer unique students registered in the Waterloo Region District School Board compared to the same time last year.
