A teenager was killed in Candle Lake this weekend, after his mom’s common-law partner allegedly assaulted her — and then followed the two to a location where they sought refuge armed with a gun. The teen’s aunt is now asking people in situations of domestic violence to seek help.
A $2,000 fine has been issued to the organizer of a "large social gathering" in a private home in Saskatoon that led to at least 21 COVID-19 cases, the Saskatchewan health ministry says.
Saskatchewan reported seven new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. There are four in the Saskatoon area, one in the southwest, and two in the southeast.
