Atlantic Canada has protected its own through the COVID-19 pandemic by securing regional borders.
There are no known active cases of COVID-19 remaining in Nova Scotia and it has been 11 days since the province identified a new positive case. The province also will renew the state of emergency on Sunday.
After meeting with the owner of the idled Donkin mine recently to discuss the concerns of area residents, the mine's community liaison committee is seeking a better study on the actual noise level coming from ventilation fans.
